'Devoted' dad killed in accident at UK's nuclear power plant as family pay tribute

A "devoted" dad has died following an accident at a nuclear power plant in Somerset, leaving his family heartbroken.
Jason Waring began working at the Hinkley Point C plant with Bylor, the main contractor on the project, in 2018.
Sadly, on Sunday, November 13, the 48-year-old suffered injuries in an accident and passed away.
His wife Sarah described Jason as a "great friend" and "loving father" and said the family "will miss him terribly" following his tragic death.
She said: "Jason was a devoted and loving father who did everything for me, his sons and his daughters.
"He was also a great friend, very loyal to many, and was always the life and soul of the party. We will miss him terribly."
It is not clear what caused Jason's death at the site where EDF Energy are building two of Britain's new nuclear reactors to power the southwest.
The company says that staff at Hinkley Point C have been offered support following the incident.
Project Director, Chris Wilkinson, paid tribute to Jason, saying: "Since joining the team, Jason had become a much respected and well-liked member of the team.
"He was an excellent supervisor, and his colleagues will remember him fondly as someone who was fun to spend time with.
"The whole team is shocked and upset by his death, our thoughts are with his family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
Avon & Somerset Police published the tribute this afternoon, adding: "Our thoughts remain with Jason's family during this difficult time.
"They continue to receive support from our specialist officers."
The force says that a joint investigation into Jason's death alongside the Office of Nuclear Regulation is ongoing.
One man in his 60s attended a voluntary interview at a police station following the incident.
